Duties may include:
  • Support and execute the day-to-day program functions and operations IAW E.O. 13526, E.O. 13556, Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and other ISP policy.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of a self-inspection program that adheres to the principles and requirements of the Executive Orders and directives from NARA and ODNI.
  • Support of the annual self-inspection program by routinely conducting ISP quarterly inspections, testing the protections in place to ensure adequate protection of NGA information.
  • Support of the SF311 and Cost of Security data calls as required by ISOO.
  • Support to the NGA and contractor personnel performing on classified efforts (at the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral levels) by providing approved classification guidance, release procedures and marking criteria.
  • Monitor and update existing policy and guidance to maintain accuracy, as appropriate.
  • Support and monitor required training for NGA personnel to ensure that those who create or handle classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) have satisfactory knowledge and understanding of relevant categories and associated markings, as well as applicable safeguarding dissemination, and decontrol policies and procedures. 
  • Assist in the integration of lessons learned from reviews and assessments to improve operational policies, procedures, and training
  • Assist in the review, evaluation, and corrective action pertaining to non-compliance with the Executive Order and directives from NARA and ODNI
  • Provide expertise in Geospatial Intelligence materials handling and transfer.
  • Perform and facilitate geospatial records review, declassification, and liaison activities required in EO 13526.
  • Provide support to the Operations Security (OPSEC) and Security Education & Awareness (SEA) programs focused on consistently bringing security issues to the attention of the Government and assisting in training course administration.
  • Provide support to the Agency’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program, supporting information requests in accordance with NGA processes and procedures.
Skills and Experience:

  • A Level 3 with a minimum of 7 years’ experience, and with 3 or more years in the intelligence community focused on IC experience.
  • B.S or B.A. degree or related experience in a business, or criminal justice field.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and NGA. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in program development, management, and execution.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing formal written communications and reports.
  • Proficient researcher capable of exploring and presenting viable options and recommendations for various security issues.
  • Have exceptional MS Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro software skills.
  • Assist in the Development of policies to stipulate agency procedures, roles, and responsibilities regarding the management of classified information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with EO 13556 and directives from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
